My Leadership Camp in Kenora, Ontario, is happening once again this summer and it will be a great experience. The Kenora camp is a hands on practical leadership camp. The week is filled with stimulating activities, team challenges, 1-1 coaching and feedback sessions. It all started in 2009 with a piece of property on the lake. I picked the location because I think people can reflect on who they are. These 5 day camps are for when you’re ready to step up and become who you want to be. I bring in two external coaches to work individually with each participant. In our downtime, we relax by the beautiful lake and enjoy the all inclusive amenities. This includes boating, morning exercise, fishing, massages and yoga. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

Kenora Camp Testimonials
For me personally, the Leadership Camp in Kenora was quite outstanding. Apart from the intensification of tools, mindset and philosophy around leadership, it was foremost a most inspiring and energizing catalyst for clarifying the way ahead. I’ve not only seen the whole group of participants growing for themselves and altogether during that week, but am also seeing that it has quite a sustainable impact going forward. Again, thanks a lot and hope seeing you soon.
Dr. Axel Steiger-Bagel, Bayer AG, Managing director for the Benelux Region
“Being (on mission) in Kenora for one week was maybe one of the most valuable weeks of my life. Becoming clearer about my values (and their origin), my personal strengths (USPs) and defining both an on-point personal & business vision will help me structuring & living my life with all people around me in the most desirable way”.
Frederik Waller, Head of Department C-212 Helm AG
“When I attended the Being on Mission Leadership camp 10 years back I did not know what coaching was about. Since then, every year I am building and enhancing the skills I developed with Mark Mcgregor. I have more clarity on my own mission in life, and a better understanding of helping others to be on mission. Building coaching skills into my leadership style was a wonderful experience, it empowers you to motivate groups and individuals, and be more productive on the job.”
Stephen Gerlich, Bayer Mexico
“Before my last assignment as CEO for Turkey I choose to spent one week at the Kenora Leadership Camp of Mark McGregor. It happened to be my best development experience ever. The combination of activities, mutual coaching, interesting peers, cordial hosts and sport activities in the peaceful and beautiful Lake of Woods worked perfectly for me, to get prepared for the upcoming challenge. I could completely disconnect from by business routine and see business and also personal perspectives much clearer and focused.”
Hubert Braun, Bayer
“My initial motivation to attend Mark’s Kenora camp in August 2019 was to learn how to become a leader, versus manager to my team. After day one, I realized that the camp was going to offer me far more than I ever expected. Not only was there extensive professional growth, but personal as well.
Mark’s high energy and talent in transforming a group of strangers into the best team I have ever worked with in just 5 days astounds me to this day. When asked about my experience from co-workers, peers and family, I can only describe it as life changing. It sounds grand and mystical, but it truly was the best gift I could have ever given myself. The feelings of clarify, motivation and drive I felt at camp have stayed with me.
The camp resulted in real tangible goals and changes that I now practice daily. It is difficult to describe how the change occurred or why – you just need to go to the camp to find out for yourself. I have taken many professional development courses and none compare to the take home lessons I gained from Mark’s Kenora camp. I enjoyed it so greatly, that I have encouraged many people I know to go and plan to send my two Directors to his camp next summer. Camp is an experience I am eternally grateful for and will never forget. 5-stars all around.”

Thank you so much once again for the coaching in the 2,5 days, it has been extremely powerful and inspiring such a motivation and there has been so much energy afterwards! I will certainly go through the book and keep following up on my notes, you cannot imagine how many people I have spoken to about this seminar. I have also thought a lot about your suggestion on going to Canada and am certainly interested.
Carola Strum, Schleich Sales Director Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa
The seminar provided a totally new reflection on leadership in a more holistic way (360°). The outcome of this one week intensive seminar was a personal vision statement supported by clear steps how to implement it to help to fulfill my potential as an effective leader proven to work in a real world environment.
